The first time, when I assign the tree parts to the right container the 2 methods work fine. But from the next time around, both the methods retrieve wrong node indexes. The 2 methods aren39t considering the fact that a node has been deleted from the left tree and are fetching the node indexes as at the start. Could someone advice on how to handle this. If you don39t define conflicting services in two nodes then you won39t have a problem even if you used the same cache configuration file names or you did not even used a file at all. I started reading recently that it is now possible to achieve container-to-container Windows clusters and as such I have a few questions Id like to pick some heads on. 1) If I understand the process correctly based on reading the Administrators guide, I must first create a LUN that both HN servers can attach to that will store the application (SQL or Exchange etc). I must also create a quorum LUN that they both can connect to. 2) Then I need to create a container that is physically stored on the HN lets say HN1. (not on shared storage) 3) Then I need to enable the MSCS support and forward the two LUNs mentioned in step 1 on the container, and create the cluster that will be the primary/active by logging in to the Container via RDP and create an MSCS cluster using the New Server Cluster Wizard. 4) Then I need to forward the two LUNs mentioned in step 1 to the container on HN2 that will be the standby. 5) This is where I am a bit confused, the Admin guide then says to - Add each standby Container to the cluster running the Add Nodes Wizard on the corresponding Hardware Node. Is this wizard literally saying I should run it on the Hardware Node or inside the container that will be the standby 6) Then the Admin guide says in an exclamation yellow box - Note: All SCSI disk drives forwarded from the Hardware Node to a Container are not kept during the Container migration.
